Kelly Osbourne has admitted that she still “regrets” quitting her music career.

Osbourne made these comments on a recent episode of ‘The Osbournes’ podcast, after she was asked if she has ever pondered over a return to music.

Kelly had previously reached number one in the charts when she collaborated with her father Ozzy Osbourne on a cover of Black Sabbath’s track ‘Changes’ in 2003.

While she enjoyed some success with singles including a cover of Madonna’s ‘Papa Don’t Preach’ which peaked at number 3, Kelly Osbourne released albums Shut Up in 2002 and Sleeping In The Nothing in 2005, with both albums failing to have an impact in the charts.

“definitely”

On a recent episode of her family’s podcast, Kelly Osbourne has admitted that she “regrets” turning her back on the music world.

“I’ve definitely thought about it and what life would have been like if I hadn’t stopped”, she said. “It’s definitely a regret. Will I do anything about that regret? I don’t know”.

However, Kelly Osbourne did add that her various reality TV and media duties led her to struggle to find “any balance” in her life.

On why she quit, Kelly explained: “I was doing so much TV, I was doing so much touring and publicity and so many interviews and I just wanted to go out and have fun”.

“I didn’t want it to be all work and no play and I didn’t know how to have any balance. It was bad”.

Following her music departure, Kelly Osbourne has enjoyed a successful career on the screens in her own right, appearing in shows ‘America’s Got Talent’, and ‘Fashion Police’.

She also voiced Hildy Gloom on Disney’s ‘The 7D’.

“proud to be a nepo baby”

Kelly Osbourne’s parents are Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, and despite working hard for her career, Kelly has said that she is “proud to be a nepo baby”.

“I’m a f****** nepo baby and I’m proud to be a nepo baby. I’m proud of my parents’ achievements”, she said in a separate interview.

“I think that what they have done is incredible, history-making. I go so far as to say both of them are iconic”, Kelly added.

“But it doesn’t mean that I should automatically be given all of these opportunities. My parents have always taught me that you have to prove yourself”.

Last year, Kelly Osbourne also welcomed the arrival of her baby son with her partner Sid Wilson. More on this here.

Back in March, Ozzy Osbourne also released his new single ‘Crack Cocaine’, a collaboration with Billy Morrison. Check that out here.
