Lenny Kravitz is to perform at the In Memoriam segment during this year's Oscar's Ceremony.
The American musician is renowned for exploring several genres throughout his career, including soul, rock, and jazz.
In his career, Kravitz has released 11 studio albums, and is also known for hits such as, 'American Woman' and 'Fly Away', while 'Are You Gonna Go My Away' reached number 1 in the UK Charts.
Kravitz also branched out into the film business, appearing in a myriad of films, including 'The Hunger Games', as well as its sequel 'Catching Fire in Cinna'.

Other stars performing at the ceremony include Rhianna, who will perform her Oscar nominated track 'Life Me Up', which was written for 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever'.
The track was nominated for best original song, alongside Lady Gaga's Top Gun track, 'Hold My Hand'.
Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the ceremony takes place at LA's Dolby Theatre on March 12, and boasts plenty of Irish interest!
Overall, Ireland received as many as 14 nominations for the Oscars. Nine of these were earned by Martin McDonagh's Banshees of Inisherin.
Along with Oscar nominations for best editing, directing, original screenplay among others, Banshees of Inisherin also earned a nomination for lead actor, thanks to Colin Farrell's performance in the film.
Co stars Barry Keoghan and Kerry Condon also earned nominations for Best Supporting Actor and Actress respectively.
Also nominated in the Best Actor category is Paul Mescal. The Kildare native also earned a nod for his role in Aftersun.
