Liam Gallagher's announced that the new documentary As It Was has been finished and will be released later on this year.
According to the NME, the new movie charts the “emotional story of how one of the greatest rock frontmen went from the dizzying heights of his champagne supernova years in Oasis to living on the edge ostracised lost in the musical wilderness of boredom, booze and bitter legal battles”.
Directed by Charlie Lightening, we witness Liam move out of Noel’s shadow, handling the expectation and emerging from being in the biggest band in the world to "starting again alone, stripped bare, with no-where to hide”.
Liam Gallagher has confirmed that the project has been wrapped up and according to Twitter, he’s chuffed with the final result. He announced on the platform,
“Just seen the film As It Was and it’s mega. Well done to all involved. As you were, as it was who are ya want some dickhead LG?”
