Liam Gallagher had hit back following criticism of his vocals on social media ahead of last Saturday’s fight between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois.

Daniel Dubois came out on top against Joshua on the night, retaining his IBF heavyweight title.

Before the bout, Gallagher had performed songs from Oasis’ seminal album ‘Definitely Maybe’ ahead of the showdown at Wembley Stadium.

The singer offered fans a preview ahead of next year’s reunion with his brother Noel with Oasis, by singing ‘Supersonic’, ‘Rock n Roll Star’ and ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’.

However, Gallagher’s performance sparked huge criticism, with some fans even hinting that they were relieved to have missed out on tickets for this forthcoming Oasis tour.

ESPN commentator Rob Palmer shared this on X, “Good job Liam Gallagher sold those tickets early doors!”.

Another commented: “I don’t think there’s been a worse performance at Wembley than what Liam Gallagher just had”.

“All those fools that have spent thousands on Oasis tickets for next year.
Liam Gallagher sounds crap at Wembley tonight. Enjoy suckers….”, added another.

Gallagher Calls Out “IMPOSTERS”

Following this, Liam Gallagher hit back at this criticism, with the following message on X.

“To all those SHITC***S who were crying about my ANGELIC TONES last night you ain’t real fans your just IMPOSTERS and if you do have tickets you wanna get rid off I’ll gladly take them off your hands we don’t want the likes of you at our concerts nxt year any way”, the singer wrote.

The musician followed this up with another tweet, which included a drawing of a bird and the words: “You will not stop me from singing my song, I will sing it forever”.

The night itself saw Gallagher gesture to the sound desk in frustration.

One fan asked the singer: “I saw ya make jesters to the sound guy during supersonic but that’s all I saw, you sounded great to me, absolutely buzzing for next year now”, which led to Gallagher replying: “Yes 3 guitars on that stage and couldn’t hear 1 bumbaclart”.

When asked why he missed the opening line in the song, Gallagher added: “Couldn’t hear guitars all 3 of them”.
