In a new interview with MOJO, Liam Gallagher has ruled out an onstage reunion with Oasis ahead of this tour, claiming that estranged brother Noel turned down an offer from him to reunite the band.
“Noel? He ain’t f****** doing it", Gallagher stated.
He continued, “I did call him! Well, my people called Noel’s management team,” claimed Liam. “We put an offer on the table for an Oasis thing – because we got offered it – and he said no. It was a big tour, a lot of money. He turned it down. I get it, he’s got a divorce going down. I’ll do the ‘Definitely Maybe’ thing and have a nice time without him".
Elsewhere, Liam was also asked if the pair will bury the hatchet for their anniversary of their second album '(Whats The Story) Mroning Glory?' in 2025.
“It’s down to the universe. It’ll happen when it happens, it’s not in our hands anymore", he said. “Me, I love nostalgia though. I’m doing the lot. Every album, even… what was the last one?".
As for present day, 2024 promises to be a busy one for Liam Gallagher. Along with his 'Definitely Maybe' Tour, the singer will also embark on a major tour with the Stone Roses' John Squire, his current collaborator.
