Liam Gallagher has revealed that he and new collaborator John Squire are planning some live shows together.
The pair had previously teased a collaborative album together last month, with Gallagher hailing Squire as “the best guitarist of his generation and in the world”.
News of an impending tour, comes as Gallagher & Squire released the debut single from their new album, ‘Just Another Rainbow’.

“rawness”
Speaking in a fresh interview, Liam Gallagher outlined the pair’s plans for a live set of shows.
“We’ve got a bass player, we’ve got a drummer, we’ve got a keyboard player on hold and that if we need it. We’re going to try and tackle it without a keyboard player [or] piano player and give it a bit of b*******, mate”, Gallagher stated.
He continued, “A bit of rawness to it, but if it needs it, it needs it. But yeah, we’re going out on tour. We’re going to go and do some gigs, see what happens, and try to inspire people and make people happy. That’s it really. And then do another one”.
On the album itself, Gallagher also explained, “There’s 10 [songs] on the album, but we’ve done eight. We demoed eight of them in John’s studio and then John done another two songs and we recorded them for the first time”.
“Sang them for the first time out in America in LA. [The album] It hasn’t got a title as such. It’s just Liam and John, like Liam Gallagher and John Squire, really”.
Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs has already offered his seal of approval to the Gallagher & Squire album, hailing it as “very good”.
Claiming that he has already listened to the album “from start to finish”, Arthurs a former Oasis bandmate of Gallagher’s, has praised his friend’s collaborative project with Squire.
