Liam Gallagher has dismissed reports that he recently met up with his brother Noel earlier this week, calling it "fake news".
Rumours of this alleged meeting had surfaced, with reports claiming that the pair, who are on "much better terms now", had met up at a hotel in central London, ahead of their huge Oasis reunion tour, which kicks off this Summer, and includes two shows at Croke Park in August.
According to these reports, the Gallagher brothers were allegedly spotted at London's Nobu Hotel Portman near Hyde Park. Reports had also suggested that Liam's sons Lennon and Gene were also there. It was also claimed that the men were joined by former Oasis bandmate, Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, before they left separately.
However, Liam Gallagher has since taken to Twitter/X, to dismiss these claims, which he branded as false and "fake news".
This happened after a fan had asked the singer: “Is it true that you spoke for one hour with Noel in a hotel in London the other day?”. To which Gallagher issued this blunt response, "FAKE NEWS".
Gallagher also responded to two fans who had similar questions for him, insisting that these stories were baseless.
Responding to another, Gallagher also issued this sarcastic reply: “I did it was lovely we had a lovely chat and a cuddle".
In a new statement shared via the Independent, they said that Noel was not at this meeting, and it only comprised of Liam, his sons, and partner Debbie Gwyther.
