Liam Gallagher has revealed that he reserves a seat at every one of his solo shows for his brother and former Oasis bandmate Noel.

This comes after a photo was shared online by X user Simon Love, saying that he recently attended a Liam Gallagher show, where he noticed a seat was reserved for Noel Gallagher.

“I’m in a hospitality box at Liam Gallagher and I’ve just seen this on a seat in front of mine”, Simon says. Check it out here.

“I love to laugh”

However, Simon Love later admitted that this photo was taken from a Jesus And Mary Chain show in 2014, and that he was just leading us on. See more here.

A few days later, Liam Gallagher did respond to this, by confirming that he does reserve a seat for his brother at each of his live shows.

When asked by another X user if he reserves a seat for Noel, Liam replied: “Yes you never know”.

It does remain unknown if Noel Gallagher has actually attended one of his estranged brothers’ shows. The pair have been at loggerheads since Oasis’ abrupt split in 2009.

Noel is “still playing hard to get” – Liam Gallagher

Earlier this month, Liam Gallagher kicked off his ‘Definitely Maybe’ tour. On the opening night of the tour, the singer told the audience at Cardiff that Noel is “still playing hard to get” regarding an Oasis reunion.

Whilst on stage, Gallagher dedicated a live performance of ‘Half The World Away’ to his “little brother” Noel.

“So I’m gonna dedicate this next tune to my little brother, who’s still playing hard to get”, Gallagher told the audience.

The singer added: “But that’s alright. Word on the street is he was spotted in a really posh chocolate shop – one of them Thorntons – buying some chocolates. So you never know! D’you know what I mean?”.
