This Friday 12th June, former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher will join Tim Burgess for one of his Twitter Listening Parties to celebrate the release of his ‘MTV Unplugged’ live album.
Since the pandemic Charlatan’s frontman Burgess has been entertaining fans with weekly album listening parties on his Twitter.
The album was recorded last summer from Hull City Hall and features Oasis classics alongside some solo cuts.
Gallagher, who infamously missed Oasis’ MTV Unplugged in 1996 due to a reported sore throat, said in a statement: “I was honored to perform at the legendary showcase that is MTV Unplugged. It was a lovely experience and the people of Hull were biblical and sounded fantastic. I hope you enjoy the record.”
Oasis guitarist Bonehead will also join Gallagher and Burgess on Twitter to discuss the album and also answer fan’s questions.
The ‘MTV Unplugged’ listening party is set to kick off at 7PM this Friday.
