Dire Straits' Mark Knopfler spoke to Marty Miller ahead of the upcoming arrival of his new album, One Deep River.
In this chat, Knopfler chats to Marty about his touring future, putting some of his finest collection of guitars on the market for charity, and the burning desire to make a new album, including his latest release One Deep River.

The album itself features as many as twelve new tracks from Knopfler, including the title track, which epitomises Knopfler and his fondness of the river which runs through his childhood home of Newcastle.
"Crossing the Tyne is always on your mind," he says.
"It's what you were doing when you were leaving as a youngster and that feeling is always the same every time you do it. You're heading out or you're coming back, and it just connects with your childhood. The power of it doesn't go away".
