Led Zeppelin have shared live audio of their 1971 landmark track, ‘Black Dog.’ That’s a preview to the September 7th release of various remastered editions of the soundtrack to the concert film, ‘The Song Remains The Same.’
The reissue features material recorded during the group’s 1973 shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden and was first released back in 1976, This reissue lands 50 years to the date of the band’s first live concert. That was as The New Yardbirds in the town of Gladsaxe, Denmark in 1968.
Featuring newly-remastered audio that was overseen by Jimmy Page, ‘The Song Remains The Same’ soundtrack will be available as a Super Deluxe Boxed Set, CD, vinyl, digital versions, plus the full record’s debut release in Hi-Res 5.1 surround sound on Blu-ray format.
