A 28 year old man and a 17 year old teenager have been detained for questioning following the discovery of a firearm in Tallaght in Dublin.
They were arrested yesterday afternoon, during an operation by members of the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
Gardai say the gun was seized as part of an ongoing operation targetting crime in South Dublin.
