A 30-year-old man has been charged in connection with a drugs seizure which took place in Dublin earlier this week and subsequently arrested on Thursday.
Last Thursday at around 7.30pm two cars were stopped in the Ronanstown area and searched. Cocaine was found and two males aged 30 and 26 were arrested.
Follow-up searches revealed significant quantities of cocaine, cannabis, ketamine and drug trafficking paraphernalia, with an estimated value of €1.4 million.
The 26-year-old male was charged yesterday and appeared in court.
Gardaí charged a second male, aged 30, today and he is appearing before the Criminal Courts of Justice this afternoon.
