A man is due to appear in court next Wednesday on a murder charge.
Patrick Murphy of Drumcarin Parade in Tallaght, will be before Cloverhill District Court in relation to the death of Jordan Ronan, who was in his 20's.
Mr Ronan was killed in the early hours of last Friday morning in the Drumcairn area.
Mr Murphy remains in custody after appearing in court on Saturday.
A woman in her 30's that was being held in relation to the Garda investigation was released without charge.
