A house fire in Dublin today has claimed the life of a man, while two others were rescued from the blaze.
The blaze broke out this morning at around 9 o’clock in a house in Sheepmoor Gardens.
Firefighters and four appliances from Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene which remains preserved for a technical examination.
In a statement, Dublin Fire Brigade said:
“Sadly a man has died following a domestic house fire in Clonsilla this morning. Firefighters and four fire appliances attended the scene shortly before 9am.
“Two people were safely rescued from the house. Our thoughts are with the man’s family, friends and neighbours.”
