A man in his 20s has been injured following a shooting in Dublin.It happened in the north inner city this morning.
At around 6:45am Gardai were called to a flat on North Strand Road where they found a man with gunshot wounds.
He was treated at the scene by emergency services and was taken to the Mater Hospital for treatment.
His injuries are not thought to be life threatening. The scene has been preserved for a forensic and technical examination.
No arrests have been made at this stage. Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them at Mountjoy Garda Station.
