Gardaí at Sundrive Rd in Dublin are appealing for witnesses or information regarding an incident this morning, Sunday 18th February 2018.
A 24-year-old injured man was found lying on the road at Parnell Rd / Clogher Rd Dublin 12 at approximately 5.55am this morning.
Investigating Gardaí believe that the man may have been struck by a motor vehicle which failed to stop at the scene. The injured man was removed to St. James’ Hospital with serious head injuries.
From initial investigations, it’s understood that the injured man made his way from Camden St. at approximately 4.30am towards Portobello, Harrington St, South Circular Rd, Harold’s Cross Bridge, Parnell Rd and Clogher Rd.
A Garda technical team has examined the scene.
