A man in his 50s has been shot dead in a housing estate in Ballyfermot in Dublin this morning.
The attack took place at Croftwood Park, a housing estate near Cherry Orchard Park, at around 11am.
Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene.
Gardaí are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at a house in the Croftwood Park area of Ballyfermot on 27/07/2020 at approximately 11am.
A man (age currently unknown) received a number of gunshot wounds and has been pronounced dead at the scene.
The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination.
