Singer and actress Marianne Faithfull is fighting the Coronavirus in a London hospital.
The 73-year-old Brit, who famously dated Rolling Stone star Mick Jagger from 1966 to 1970, was admitted at the end of March for pneumonia, and subsequently tested positive for COVID-19, according to a Facebook post shared by her friend, Penny Arcade.
She said her much loved ex husband John Dunbar said, "So far so good. But also that she can barely speak and no visitors."
The legend’s manager, Francois Ravard, added in a statement: “Marianne is being treated for COVID-19 in hospital in London. She is stable and responding to treatment, we all wish her well and a full and speedy recovery.”

Faithfull made her name during London’s Swinging ’60s, having her first breakout hit with As Tears Go By in 1964, which was written by Jagger, fellow Rolling Stone Keith Richards and the band’s manager, Andrew Loog Oldham.
The Stones ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want’ is said to be about Marianne and she was also close with The Beatles and sang backing vocals on their 1966 classic Yellow Submarine.
