Drugs worth more than 2.5 million euro have been seized at Dublin Port. It's after a truck was stopped and searched this morning.
Cocaine, heroin and ketamine were seized by Customs as part of a joint intelligence led operation carried out by Revenue's Customs Service and the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau at Dublin Port.
A truck was stopped and searched at the facility this morning. The estimated value of the haul subject to analysis is in excess of 2 point 5 million euro.
A 55 year old man was arrested as part of the operation and is being questioned at Store Street Garda Station in Dublin.
The seizure formed part of an operation targeting the importation of drugs through Dublin Port.
