Keith Morrison has paid tribute to his late stepson Matthew Perry, a month on from the actor's death.
Matthew Perry, who came to prominence after starring as the sarcastic Chandler Bing in the much loved US sitcom, Friends, passed away aged 54 last month.
Following his death, a statement which was signed by Friends co-stars Matt Le Blanc, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, and Lisa Kudrow, was released.
“We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew”, the cast said in this joint statement. Adding, “We were more than just cast mates. We are a family”.
Canadian broadcaster Keith Morrison married Mathew Perry's mother Suzanne in 1981.
Mathew Perry's mother Suzanne was married to the late actor's biological father, John Bennett Perry, who was also an actor, from 1968 to 1970.
Posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, Morrison penned this tribute to the late Friends star.
“This is not the sort of thing I commonly do, this pitch,” Morrison wrote. “But this year is different. And tomorrow is Giving Tuesday. Do what you can; he would have been grateful".
Morrison's post also features a link to the Matthew Perry Foundation, which was set up to help people struggling with addiction.

“The Matthew Perry Foundation is the realisation of Matthew’s enduring commitment to helping others struggling with the disease of addiction. It will honour his legacy and be guided by his own words and experiences and driven by his passion for making a difference in as many lives as possible", a statement on the foundation's website reads.
Morrison's post, echoes a message shared by Jennifer Aniston, who starred alongside Perry in Friends.
In her post, Aniston also stated that "he would have been grateful for the love".
