The funeral of a 67-year-old man shot dead in Co. Mayo on Tuesday will take place this afternoon.
Brendan Kilduff was killed when he went to check on the welfare of an elderly neighbour.
Gardaí say they believe Mr Kilduff was mistaken for an intruder.
A funeral mass will be held at the Church of St John the Baptist in Knock at noon.
