A hearing on legal costs arising out of the lawsuit against Conor McGregor has been delayed.

It was due to take place tomorrow, as a result of a request by Lawyers for Nakita Hand, the woman who claimed the MMA fighter raped her.

The High Court will have to figure out who pays what after a jury found against McGregor after the incident six years ago.

Ms Hand won her last Friday, and was awarded almost €250,000 in compensation.

However she lost her case against McGregor’s friend, James Lawrence.

He was also sued for assault arising from alleged sexual activity without consent.

In civil litigation, the loser typically pays the other side’s legal costs, but the judge does have some discretion.

Nakita Hands barristers are not available tomorrow and have also requested more time to make submissions to the court.
