Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine has shared a new clip of footage from recording sessions for the group’s sixteenth record. Drummer Dirk Verbeuren has been recorded getting busy witrh drum parts for a new song in the studio.
Mustaine said on Twitter, “The Cheshire Cat is smiling. Enjoy a lil tease.” The footage came online a few days after Mustaine shared the news that the pair have begun work on the project.
Mustaine said,
“Today, our drummer @VerbeurenDirk and I start @Megadeth Album 16 with Dystopia co-producer and @Grammy winning partner Chris Rakestraw at my side again. No Rest For The Wicked! (relax…that’s not the new title).”

“Dystopia” reached at No.3 on the US Billboard 200 after it dropped in 2016 while the record’s title track bagged the metallers their first-ever Grammy Award in the Best Metal Performance category at the 2017 event.
According to Antimusic, it has just been announced that Megadeth will join Ozzy Osbourne for a round of summer 2019 North American shows as part of the Black Sabbath rcoker’s ongoing farewell tour. Check out the video below.
