It's spreading like dry ice... Another victim presenter from Radio Nova's Morning Glory has undertaken the Ice Bucket Challenge. Following Marty Miller and Dee Woods' icy humiliation on air last Friday, Morning Glory's newsreader Conor Irwin accepted the challenge to be doused in ice water at some stage during his bulletin. And there was another catch: he had to keep his "cool" while reading live on air, unaware of when the bucket would strike. It made for some high-pitched sounds during the news, check it out here... The Ice Bucket Challenge has become a global phenomenon that's showing no signs of freezing over as millions of people all around the world chuck buckets of icy water over their heads and then nominate three people to do the same. It's raised millions of euro for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) all over the world, with people here donating to the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA). Last week,  Marty Miller and Dee Woods bowed to the pressure and soaked themselves before nominating Stuart Clark of Hot Press, Joe Elliot of Def Leppard, and of course, Morning Glory host who just "happens" to be on holidays, Joan Lea, to break the ice next! Joe Elliot did the challenge live on stage with Kiss on Friday night. (We're still waiting for Joan...) Check out the video... You can help the cause and still stay dry by texting MND to 50300 to donate €2 to the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
