Motorhead are set to release a new live package named Clean Your Clock which was recorded a month before Lemmy passed away.
The DVD was recorded on November 20th and 21st last year during the band’s shows at the Zenith in Munich, Germany, and will be issued on May 27th via UDR.
It will be made available in coloured 2LP gatefold with pop-up art, CD, DVD/CD, Blu-ray/CD and digital formats. A box set containing the 2LP, DVD and CD as well as a metal Motorhead medal has also been produced for the package.
There will also be a limited edition version available to buy which features a gold or silver version of the Motorhead medal.
The shows in Munich were followed on December 11th by the band’s last ever show, in Berlin. Frontman Ian ‘Lemmy’ Kilmister would die of an aggressive form of cancer later that month.
Motorhead frontman Lemmy celebrated his 70th birthday on December 24th and learned two days after that he had cancer. Lemmy would pass away four days later at his home in Los Angeles on December 28th.
