The music vault of Def Leppard is now ready to visit! This is a new online collection of the band’s artefacts, rarities and stories. This was put together by the band’s members Vivian Campbell, Rick Allen, Joe Elliot, Rick Savage and Phil Collen.
This vault will collate the band’s history in an online museusm. This also includes special installations covering the history of the band, from 1977 to today. A statement from the band read that the virtual online museum will be “including special installations where fans can gather to see the band’s history from 1977 to now”.
The collections launched yesterday, January 13. Fans will be able to access this material on the Def Leppard website. There, they will receive a code to get access the various curiosities.

New record for Def Leppard?
Last summer, Joe Elliot spoked to the Daily Express about the possibility of a new record for the band. It would be the first studio album released by Def Leppard since 2015.
“It’s always a possibility,” Elliot explained.
He added, “The one thing about this band is it never stops working, even when we’re not visible. We are always doing something, we’re always writing, we keep in touch with each other regarding putting new ideas together”.
Speaking at the time, Elliot said that the band were working on new material, whilst adapting to the various lockdowns put in place due to the pandemic.
“It is very possible that something may occur during this lockdown,” he continued, adding “We’ve got nothing concrete; we’ll just have to see how it goes”.
Bizarrely, 2019 saw another band member, Rick Allen join the likes of Scorpions and Iron Maiden, to have a species named after him.
On this, Allen had said, “I am honored! Thank you, Cristina Rheims! You rock!”
