Muse’s Matt Bellamy has welcomed the arrival of his second child with partner Elle Evans.
The Muse frontman confirmed this news via social media, naming his son after his famous father, George Bellamy.
Matt’s father George served as guitarist for pop band The Tornados in the 1960s, becoming the first band to have a Number One single in the US charts with their track ‘Telstar’.
Confirming the delightful news regarding his second child with Elle Evans, Matt Bellamy revealed that his son, George Julian Wade Bellamy, was also born on America’s Mother’s Day earlier this month.
“so pleased”
Yesterday, Matt Bellamy shared a sweet photo of the couple’s three year old daughter Lovella and his 12 year old son Bingham, holding the baby on social media.
“We are so pleased to announce the arrival of our new baby angel boy… George Julien-Wade Bellamy”, Elle Evans wrote.
She also added, “Born on Sunday May 12, 2024. The most special blessing born on Mother’s Day & what would’ve been my late Mother’s 60th birthday. Named after Matt’s Dad George, my Mom Julie, and my cowboy dad Billy Wade Evans. He arrived healthy, happy, and handsome as ever!!!”.
