The National have premiered a new song ahead of the release of their up-coming album Sleep Well Beast.
The band released Day I Die, along with a music video for the song this week. Directed by Casey Reas, the video consists of thousands of black and white time-lapsed photos taken by Graham McIndoe. You can watch the video below!

Matt Berninger spoke to Rolling Stone recently about their upcoming 7th studio album. "I was singing about a trouble marriage way before I met my wife," adding, "There's a lot of stuff about relationships [on Sleep Well Beast]… it's not so specifically about my marriage, but the idea of commitment and relationships and the evolution of relationships is woven throughout [The new album]."
Sleep Well Beast will be released on 8th September.
