Neil Young has announced that he will perform in Ukraine for free, as part of the singer's upcoming European Tour.
Young had earlier announced plans for a European Tour with The Chrome Hearts, known as the 'Love Earth' world tour. Kicking off in Rattvik, Sweden on June 18, Young will perform a run of shows in the EU and the UK. Such shows included a live performance at Dublin's Malahide Castle on June 26.
These concerts will also be supported by Van Morrison as a special guest.
The singer also announced a North American leg of this tour, which runs from August 8 to September 15. More on this here.
Now, Neil Young has announced that he will perform in Ukraine for free, as part of the European leg of this tour.
“We are currently in talks and will make the announcement here at [the Neil Young Archives]", the singer/songwriter stated via his official website. “Keep on Rockin’ in the Free World".
As part of this tour, Neil Young also confirmed that he would headline Glastonbury 2025., having initially ruled out performing a live set at the event, due to the BBC's involvement in the event.
