John McVie is said to be doing well after being diagnosed with cancer last autumn.
Fellow Fleetwood Mac bandmate Stevie Nicks has told Us Weekly magazine in the U.S. that she's "not the least bit worried about John", adding: "He's very, very strong. He's not a person to mess with."
The band had to cancel several tour dates following the bassist's diagnosis in October 2013, but Nicks says the 68-year-old is due to have surgery next week and is "gonna be fine".
