While an actual Oasis reunion looks as possible as Conor McGregor becoming a Zen Buddhist monk, fans hopes of a musical could become a tangible reality!
That's thanks to Noel Gallagher, who has teased the possibility a future stage show. The guitarist was speaking in a recent interview when he admitted that it could happen.
We've just past the 10th anniversary since the Manchester rock band split on the 28th August 2009. A burning feud between Noel and Liam reached a crescendo while the band was on a world tour.
Noel famously stormed off the tour after a reported fight with his younger brother backstage and swore to neve reunite the band.
However, it seems the Noel has revealed the reality of an Oasis musical has been talked about behind-the-scenes. In fact, THe High Flying Birds man is pretty confident it will see the light of day – one day.
Noel was speaking to the Sun when he talked about a stage production:
‘The musical! People have been on to me about that for the last 10 years. And funnily enough Live Forever is always the title.’
The likelihood of 'Live Forever' seems to be more than just hot air, as Noel admitted he talked to an ‘English guy who works on Broadway who knows about these things’. Noel continued, elaborating on what this guy said:
‘And he was like saying, “Your journey from rags to riches”. ‘And I was like, “Do you have to make it so Dickensian? I never wore any rags”. People do love that s**t, I know. It’s inevitable it will happen one day. I will go and see it once.’
