Noel Gallagher has revealed that he will return to the studio to record his next solo album early next year.
Gallagher released his latest album with the High Flying Birds, 'Council Skies', back in June.
The former Oasis musician also rocked the stage at Dublin's Royal Hospital Kilmainham back in August, a performance which also saw him dedicate a live cover of 'Live Forever' to the late Sinead O'Connor. Check that out here.
In a recent interview, Noel Gallagher has confirmed that he is keen to record a follow up to 'Council Skies' in the new year.
“I’ve had to stop writing because I need to get these songs recorded and get them out there so I can write some more", Gallagher said.
He continued, “In the pandemic there was nothing to do all day so I just wrote songs. There’s another two albums-worth of material there".
“I think I’m going to be back in the studio in January, so we’ll see where it goes from there".
Back in September, Noel Gallagher also that he would be open to a residency at Las Vegas "later in life".
