Oasis have announced a special 25th anniversary reissue for their album, 'Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants'.
This new version of the band's fourth studio album is to be released on Friday February 28, which was the same date the original album arrived back in 2000.
The album which originally arrived 25 years ago, was released by Noel and Liam Gallagher's own label, Big Brother Recordings Ltd, which was launched in January 2000, following the closure of Oasis' former UK label, Creation Records.
'Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants' also featured the lead single, 'Go Let It Out', which also marked the first material to be released with this label. It also included singles, 'Where Did It All Go Wrong?', 'Who Feels Love?', 'Sunday Morning Call', 'Gas Panic', and 'Fuckin In The Bushes'.
Arriving at the end of this month, the reissued version of 'Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants', will be available on a limited edition vinyl, including silver LP, as well as an official store-exclusive blue and purple march LP.
It will also include a new lyric video of that first single, 'Go Let It Out', which incidentally, was released on this exact day 25 years ago. The track is due to arrive on YouTube at 4pm today. Check out the premiere page here.
