A piano which was once owned by former Oasis guitars Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs is to go up for auction.
The instrument was gifted to Arthurs by Creation Records owner Alan McGee, who famously signed Oasis after discovering them in 1993.
Going under the hammer today (December 10), an E108 walnut Yamaha and is expected to fetch for between £8,000 and £10,000 at Piano Auctions Ltd.
The piano also includes a letter of authenticity signed by Arthurs himself, and was specifically chosen for the musician by McGee.

Speaking about this instrument, Piano Auctions Ltd director Sean McIlroy had this to say.
“As far as we are aware this is the first one of the four pianos gifted by Alan McGee to Oasis to come up at auction”, McIlroy said.
“What makes it exciting is that Bonehead and possibly other band members will have played out elements of their songs on this piano, and now Oasis fans and collectors can try their hands on the same keys”.
He also added: “I can imagine that there will be a few Oasis and music fans who would love this piano as a Christmas present, but they will need quite deep pockets”.
Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs co-founded Oasis, featuring on some of their biggest albums, including 1994’s ‘Definitely Maybe’, ‘What’s The Story Morning Glory?’ in 1995 and 1997’s Be Here Now.
Arthurs Reports Clean Bill Of Health
In 2022, Arthurs also confirmed that he was diagnosed with tonsil cancer. However, he did reveal that he was given the “all clear”.
“Update on my cancer; I had a full scan 10 days ago and it’s all clear, it’s gone”, Arthurs wrote.
He continued, “Thank you so much all of you for the messages I’ve had throughout, you’ve helped more than you know”.
“Thank you especially to the team at @TheChristieNHS, into recovery now and see you all soon”. The musician also thanked the staff at the NHS Foundation Trust for all their help.
