Speculation seems to be building more than ever about an Oasis reunion.
15 years to the week since the band broke up over a row between Liam and Noel Gallagher, it seems the rivalry could end.
In a video released on YouTube to mark the anniversary of the band's debut album, Noel is unusually complimentary about his brother's involvement in the band and this morning Liam Gallagher has tweeted that he never liked the word "former".
The Times reports that industry insiders are adamant the pair could reunite for sold out shows in Wembley Stadium and Heaton Park.
When there were rumours of an Oasis reunion in April, Liam shut them down: “I’ve never mentioned Oasis reunion it’s over we must all really move in for our own mental health.”
However, the reunion rumours have returned, with Liam fueling the speculation.
A rumour alleges that Wembley has been booked for a whopping 10 nights for the ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ hitmakers. If true, it would mean that they would break the record for most gigs at the venue which currently belongs to Taylor Swift with her eight performances at the stadium.
Oasis are also rumoured to be potential headliners for next year’s edition of Glastonbury. If true, the set would come 30 years after the release of their seminal 1995 LP ‘(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?’
To add fuel to the rumours, Liam recently responded to a handful of tweets on X/Twitter regarding the alleged reunion. One user wrote: “Heaton Park terrible venue for concerts,” to which the frontman responded: “See you down the front”
