Ozzy Osbourne has apologised to Britney Spears over recent comments he made about her dancing in videos.

The Black Sabbath frontman and his family had previously made disparaging comments about the US popstar's dancing in videos, with Ozzy remarking:  “I’m fed up of seeing poor old Britney Spears [dancing] on YouTube every f*****' day. It’s sad, very, very sad".

Along with this, Ozzy's wife Sharon Osbourne had added: "Poor little thing", with their son Jack chiming in: "Very sad indeed".

This prompted Britney Spars to hit back at the Osbournes over their comments. In a since deleted Instagram post, Spears said: “I’m gonna … tell the Osbourne family who is the most boring family known to mankind to kindly f*** off!”.

"so sorry" - Osbourne Apologies To Spears

In the latest episode of their family podcast, the Osbournes have issued an apology to Britney Spears over their initial remarks.

This was kicked off by Kelly Osbourne, who asked if the family could show some remorse for their comments.

“Oh yeah! Britney, I really owe you an apology", Ozzy said. “I’m so sorry for making that comment. However, it would be better if you didn’t do the same f*****' dance every day. Change a few movements!".

Building on her father's words, Kelly Osbourne said:  “I’m just gonna say, ‘Britney, never stop dancing. I love your dancing. It makes you happy. And I’m so sorry if any of us offended you".

Ozzy added: “I love Britney Spears, but it’s the same dance every day".

This led to Kelly referring to an infamous Instagram clip of Britney Spears dancing with knives in her hands: “No, sometimes she has knives".

Closing the discussion, Ozzy Osbourne reiterated his apology: “I really do apologise. I love you and I think you’re beautiful".

In an earlier episode, Kelly Osbourne also admitted that she still has "regrets" over quitting music. More on this story from Nova here.
