A dog and two people are back on dry land after a dramatic rescue from the River Liffey in Dublin.
Both people jumped into the river to try and save the pet, but had to be rescued by Dublin Fire Brigade.
Three units were called to the scene outside the Four Courts at a quarter to 2 this afternoon.
The Fire Brigade’s swift water rescue swimmers from Phibsborough and Tara Street Stations also helped in the operation.
The people involved didn’t need to be taken to hospital as efforts began to locate the animal’s owner.
