Paul Weller has recruited artists like Noel Gallagher, Bobby Gillespie, and Suggs for his latest album ’66’.
The album which arrives May 24, will feature Gallagher, along with Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie, and Suggs of Madness.
The album will also mark Weller’s 66th birthday, which he celebrates tomorrow (February 25).
Paul Weller has already treated fans to a sneak preview of the album, with the single ‘Soul Wandering’, featuring Gillespie.
Madness lead singer Suggs features on the album’s track ‘Ships Of Fools’, while Noel Gallagher contributes to ‘Jumble Queen’.
The album will also include contributions from Dr Robert, Richard Hawley, Max Beesley, and Steve Brooks, along with Hannah Peel, and French producer and artist Christophe Vaillant.
Brooklyn trio Say She She also lend their vocals to ‘In Full Flight’, another track from the album.

Paul Weller Confirms UK Tour
News of this album comes months after Paul Weller had announced a UK Tour, which also begins this year.
Beginning in April, Weller announced a string dates in Bristol, Southend, Newport, Southend, Leicester, Sheffield and others.
The Modfather’s final show will take place in Cambridge on April 21.
Irish fans will also be able to catch Weller at this year’s Trinity Summer Series. He will also perform at Limerick’s King John’s Castle that same month. Tickets for the shows went up for sale last November.
At the time, Weller posted this on X, “We’re excited to reveal that Paul will be performing at Trinity College Dublin and at King John’s Castle Limerick in July 2024”.
