Paul Weller has put an end to any rumours of a possible reunion of The Jam. Weller has been a solo artist for a number of years now and doesn't see the point of joining back up with them.
The singer failed to turn up to the premiere of The Jam's new Sky Arts documentary The Jam: About The Young Idea last week. Though he wasn’t in attendance for the event, the band’s frontman spoke about a possible reformation in the documentary.
When asked about the possibility of a reunion in the documentary, Paul Weller was quite blunt saying "Absolutely, categorically, f**king no. To me it would be against everything we ever stood for."
Weller continued by saying "More than ever the older I get, the more I want to see what I can do. I just want to push it as far as I can." adding that "I don't know where I will end up or what will happen with it. But I think it is my job to do that."
