Comedian Paul Whitehouse is to star in Only Fools and Horses the Musical, which comes to Dublin's Bord Gáis Energy Theatre next year.
Coming to the Dublin venue in July 2025, Whitehouse will star as the lovable Grandad in the play, which is based on John Sullivan's iconic TV show about wheeler-dealer Derek Del Boy Trotter.
The musical is to include material from the much loved series, as well as script and original score written by John's son Jim Sullivan.
Legendary pop-rock pair Chas and Dave will also contribute to the musical, which will take place for a limited run from 1-5 July next year. Tickets go on sale this Friday.

News of the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre hosting Only Fools and Horses The Musical with Paul Whitehouse, comes months after the venue also hosted West End and Broadway smash hit, Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – The Musical.
The musical was directed by James Brining. It also saw Gareth Snook as ‘Willy Wonka’ Teddy Hinde as ‘Mike Teavee’, Marisha Morgan as ‘Violet Beauregarde’, Kazmin Borrer as ‘Veruca Salt’, and Robin Simoes da Silva as ‘Augustus Gloop’.
Last year, our very own Clint Drieberg also spoke backstage to Hinde and D'Cruze.
