Peaky Blinders producer Steven Knight has offered more details about the new Oasis documentary, claiming its "phenomenal".
Knight is producing this forthcoming documentary, which will follow the band's return for their major Live 25 reunion tour. It will also be directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, who was also known for the LCD Soundsystem doc, Shut Up And Play The Hits.
Knight was making these comments while promoting his new film, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.
“It’s phenomenal,” Knight said. “We’ve got it down to four hours, so we’ve gotta get it down to [a shorter runtime]".
He continued: “But it’s a documentary with a plot, do you know what I mean? It’s actually got a story. And then we’ve expanded it… you’ll see when you see it".
“It’s been great, and they’re great. I interviewed [the Gallagher brothers], and they’re just one quote after another. They’re just so funny".

Speaking about the Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, Irish actor Barry Keoghan explained the unique way he landed his role in this new film.
Keoghan will star as Duke Shelby, the son of Thomas Shelby, who is once again portrayed by Cillian Murphy.
Keoghan went on to explain the unique way he landed the role in a recent interview, which involved a casual message to Murphy.
"I was a massive fan of the series", he said. "I texted Cillian on Father’s Day to wish him a happy Father’s Day".
He added: "He got back to me and asked me if I wanted to play his son in the Peaky Blinders movie. It was a no brainer. He’s Cillian Murphy, I’d work with Cillian Murphy on anything". More on this story from Nova here.
