Revised plans for U2’s new visitor centre in Dublin’s Dockland’s show that the height of the building has been significantly reduced.
The Hanover Quay project was put on hold in August following objections, with Dublin City Council raising “serious concerns” over it’s impact on a nearby apartment block.
The new height will be just over 12 metres – a reduction of more than 16 per cent. Almost 4 hundred thousand people are expected to visit the centre annually, if it goes ahead.
