Britain’s Prince Andrew says he was at a pizza restaurant on the night he’s accused of having sex with a 17-year-old girl.
Virginia Roberts-Giuffre says she met the Duke of York at a nightclub in London before they slept together in 2001.
He also said he didn’t regret his friendship with the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein – who died in prison earlier this year.
Speaking to BBC’s Newsnight, he categorically denied Mrs Roberts-Giuffre’s accusations
There are now calls for an investigation into the Duke of York’s friendship with the convicted paedophile.
Two years after Epstein was jailed for two charges of procuring underage girls in Florida, Andrew was photographed talking to him in Central Park. It has since been suggested it was set up by Epstein.
