A budgie and a dog were also rescued - but didn't need oxygen - and no humans were injured.

The special 'pet oxygen-mask' is part of a trial with Village Vets which is currently being rolled out on nine fire appliances, in two districts.

Firefighters from Dolphins Barn located the cat who was unconscious.
