Pyjamas and fluffy socks were top of the list for many as Penneys finally re-opened their stores in Ireland this morning after 6 weeks of lockdown.
Eager customers were spotted queuing outside stores as early as 4.30am as level five restrictions were officially lifted.
Penneys stores in Dundrum Town Centre and Blanchardstown Centre will open for 24 hours from 7am this morning and will trade right through to closing time tomorrow Wednesday, 2nd December.
CEO Paul Marchant said: “We are delighted to re-open our stores in Ireland on 1st December with longer shopping hours to give our customers more time to safely do their festive shopping.
"We have everything this season that our customers expect from Penneys, including our famous Christmas jumpers, festive pyjamas and much, much more. All of our extensive safety measures remain in place to help ensure shopping at Penneys is an enjoyable, safe experience for everyone.”
