Radio Nova increases coverage in Dublin commuter belt.
Radio Nova has extended its transmission coverage into Co. Wicklow, as part of a drive to augment its coverage of the Dublin commuter belt. The station is now audible throughout North Wicklow, enabling it to reach 60% of the population of the county. It already transmits into Kildare and Meath as part of its licence.
Station spokesperson, Kevin Branigan, said, “Nova offers advertisers the unique ability to target listeners in Dublin and surrounding counties, something that no other Dublin station is allowed to do. We now reach more than half of the population of Wicklow, in additional to our already-strong audience figures in Dublin, Kildare and Meath, clearly demonstrating that Nova can offer more value-for money for advertisers than Dublin-only services”.
Nova launched in late 2012 and had already captured more than 130,000 * listeners in 16 short months on air.
