The Ark is inviting children across Ireland to take part in a truly interactive musical celebration.
BIG BANG is an exciting international music festival for young audiences which has run at The Ark since 2019 and this year is aptly being retitled the BIG BANG bubble, inviting children and families to take part at home.
So, while the doors of The Ark remain closed, young music enthusiasts can be part of this interactive online festival which encourages children to create music themselves.

Tayto Park, located in Ashbourne Co. Meath, is home to a unique and diverse animal collection, in the Tayto Park Zoo.
In accordance with government guidelines, the Tayto Park Zoo area of the internationally renowned theme park, will re-open this Friday, 30th April at 10:00am.

Jump on your bike and join Purple House Cancer Support’s virtual Global Cycle Challenge!
During Covid19, Purple House volunteer drivers have driven 40,000km, the same distance as driving around the world, bringing cancer patients to their chemotherapy treatments.
Their new goal now is to cycle this distance as a community!
So grab your bike and cycle within the Covid Government restrictions near where you live or jump on the turbo trainer at home and clock up the miles!
Whether you cycle 5km a week or 50km, you can help them reach their goal!

The organisers invite you to join Pieta and Electric Ireland at sunrise on 8th May 2021 for Darkness Into Light.
Take part with your loved ones by simply walking locally and sharing your sunrise.
Together, we can build a brighter future and give hope to all who have been impacted by suicide and self-harm in Ireland and across the globe.
All donations are in aid of Pieta House, Preventing Suicide and Self Harm .
Dublin Zoo is delighted to announce that following the recent announcement from Taoiseach Micheál Martin, Dublin Zoo will be open to the public from the 26th of April 2021 in a reduced capacity and under strict health and safety protocols.
Tickets will only be available on their website and will not be sold at the gate.
