Red Hot Chili Peppers have released a video for their newest single 'Dark Necessities'. It is from the band's newest album The Getaway which released earlier today (June 17th).
It was the first single to be released off the new album, with the title track being released shortly after. The new video from the Red Hot Chili Peppers was directed by Hollywood actress Olivia Wilde, who is currently starring in the HBO series Vinyl.
Model Noelle Mulligan who features in the new video posted on social media about it. She said "SooOoOoooo excited to share this project when it's done. Olivia Wilde is an epic director (and dope ass human!!) and she certainly keeps some amazing company on her team. This is going to be some cool sh*t. feeling a little bit on cloud nine right now guys."
Olivia Wilde also put up her own separate post about the new video saying "Chad Smith tearing up this crazy kit last night after I asked him to play at double the normal speed." The post was accompanied by a picture of Chad Smith drumming for the new video.
