Red Hot Chili Peppers are currently working with long time Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich. The band previously worked with well known producer Danger Mouse on their new album.
They are currently mixing the new record with Godrich, with the news being revealed by Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. Their new album will be the band's first since 2011's I'm With You which saw the introduction of a new guitarist Josh Klinghoffer.

Nigel Godrich is widely-known as the "sixth member" of Radiohead and is also a member of Atoms For Peace along with Thom Yorke and Red Hot Chilli Peppers bassist Flea.
Red Hot Chili Peppers recently revealed two new dates to coincide with the new album. So far they have announced summer festival dates which include headline slots at Reading and Leeds and T in the Park.
Flea recently spoke about the album in an interview saying that "We’re near the end of it," adding that "Danger Mouse is producing this time, instead of Rick Rubin. We’re heading into a new era and we’re really excited."
